What I have done is turn reverb ON, and I've managed to adjust my files so that most everything that comes with the game is roughly the same volume as my imported music. For anything that I want to uses as "Broadcast", or in my jukebox, I have reduced the volume by 6db compared to the stadium music.

So, now the only time my ears get blasted is when the lineup/defensive alignment music comes on, and the rare times when the game plays music with replays from earlier in the game. If I could turn the volume down on those items (or eliminate them), I would be mostly satisfied. I still think it doesn't sound as good as the previous version, but having all the volume levels nearly consistent is a huge plus.

Agreed. I've never understood why they include the default music after 3rd outs. It does fight the user music.

I only use broadcast for the network themes between innings. So for example the Rogers sportsnet theme for the intro and some between innings is always broadcast. The OK Blue Jays song in the 7th inning stretch is stadium.

After 10 games or so, I have set certain in between innings SOTS to broadcast because stadium muffles the music. Maybe it is the recording? In regards to those SOTS that cannot be toggled between stadium and broadcast, if it sounds muffled I just go with the default Latin, metal, ......

The fact that default music starts in between innings then SOTS takes over has to be a bug right?

I'd like to think so. People spend hours trying to get SOTS working to create a certain feel and the default music competes with it. I've also noticed the default music playing when the away teams starting pitcher takes the mound. Not a game killer but to me it is very annoying.

Hey guys, we've been trying to duplicate this issue. Please provide the following info for those of you experiencing it.

Go to your PS4 Settings->Sound and Screen->Audio Output Settings
What is your Primary Output Port set to?
What is your Audio Format (Priority) set to?

How is your PS4 hooked up to your audio system?

What is your in-game Audio Output preset set to?

Is this on a PS4 or PS4 Pro?

Have you heard the issue on a stereo TV?
Or is it only happening on stereo systems (L/R/Subwoofer or just L/R) but not 5.1 or 7.1?

                  Thanks!

Re: In game sound is very low

The only sounds that are low for me, can only just hear them when using headphones, are the default team crowd chants, they are so soft but they should be loud, pumping the team up and default yells are a bit soft.had the same issue last year.

I haven't noticed any difference with the volume of SoTS, imo it seems like the default broadcast music ect. got louder. I like the volume i have things set atm but like i mentioned above when the default music plays for lineups ect. it is far to loud.

                    Standard ps4

                    POP: HDMI OUT
                    AF: Linear PCM

Audio output preset: auto, i have tried all settings but still can't get team chants to play louder.

Hdmi to my tv and tv goes through a tuner/amp with just a standard 2 speaker setup.i also use ps gold headset.

When i was messing around with all the sounds turned off except music i did notice that SoTS music mostly came from the left, volume from the right speaker was noticbly softer.

Primary Output port set to: HDMI out

Audio Format (priority) set to: Linear PCM

PS4 hook up to audio system: Optical Cable from PS4 Pro st8 to "one connect" on KS8000 Samsung.

In game Audio set to: Surround 5.1/7.1

                      Using a PS4 Pro

Using a Vizio 2.1 w/ sub-woofer soundbar (oldie but goodie, lol)

It appears most everything works fine, except some walks-ups, in between innings music.

Can you say whether or not the default music starting prior to SOTS between innings is a bug or not?

                      Thanks.

Would like to know this also. This and the visitor starting pitcher plays music in the first that doesn't seem to have a way to turn off.

It's a bug that unfortunately was present last year too. Not sure if it will be fixed. As for the away pitcher music, Did you guys turn off the defensive music setting in the menu? I'm not in front of the game to check but that might be it.

Whoa.. Either my ears are deceiving me, or basically all of the problems I had been experiencing seem to be much improved since today's patch. Anyone else noticing an improvement?

i figured that's what the general audio fixes mentioned in the patch notes was referencing.
