i figured that's what the general audio fixes mentioned in the patch notes was referencing.

That most certainly seems to be the case. Other than the bat sound that seems to have been inadvertently screwed up in the patch, I would now say that everything in this game sounds very good! I'm extremely happy not only that it's fixed, but that the developers are clearly listening to the feedback we are giving. Thank you to Cujo and everyone else who has given advice along the way.

P.S. - For those who haven't played a game yet with the latest patch, the soundtrack music that played briefly between the third out and the between innings music is now gone. Very nice!

About halfway through my first game since the patch dropped and i also haven't heard any of that music that played between innings.

Hoping that the default team chants volume got turned up. The 2 lets go rangers chants i got from the packs sound great but would be good if the default one's actually sounded like the crowd was chanting it from inside the stadium instead of from 5 blocks away.

Good to hear. I was holding out on the patch due to the hat sound but this makes it tempting. Glad this was fixed.

I've also noticed the default music playing when the away teams starting pitcher takes the mound. Not a game killer but to me it is very annoying.[/QUOTE]

Patch didn't fix this issue. Glad it got the other though.

Maybe next year they can add a space for away starting pitcher music or maybe a slot were we can add music that replaces all the other music like batter lineups, defensive lineups and away SP ect.

The program we use to edit is called goldwave and it has equalizer funcitionality if you wanted to give it a try.

FYI: there is a FREE program I use that will let you set the db for mp3's. It is called "MP3 Gain"...you can find it here if you are interested.

Yeah, I will stick with Goldwave. Easy to use. Does tons of stuff for me. And for the money, it's so worth it.

Just bought this game yesterday and I've searched the forum and this seems like the most relevant thread.

1. Do the patches update to most recent version automatically (it's set on auto) when the game downloads?

2. Does Music need to be on under Audio/Video in game if I just want walk up sound? I've tried everything.

3. I can't hear anything with during the game and I've tried all these fixes listed on thread, do you think SDS can fix this with a new patch? Or will Sounds of the Show go on without in game custom sound?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
