Help to add music
I need some help to add music to my franchise in The Show 19. I don’t own a computer and all my music is on my iPhone. Is there any way to add music to my franchise other then using a USB port??? Is there a workaround this because without some player walk up music and some home run music to make the game feel more realistic the game just feels empty. Any way to work around this or am I just stuck with no customization options??? Any help is would be great and thanks🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻Tags: None -
Re: Help to add music
I have an Android phone so I'm not sure about how I phones are, but if you have the files on a micro USB inside your phone (extra storage) then you can buy a regular USB stick that you can slot the micro USB card into or an adapter that does the same thing. As long as the USB is formatted in exFAT or FAT32 (standard format is NTFS) then you should be able to transfer the files. Last I checked, the micro USB to regular USB sticks were in the ~ $10-$20 range. -

Re: Help to add music
Not yet because most of my music is iTunes and I would have to find a way to convert my songs to mp3s. That is something that is hard to do from an iPhone. There has to be something else out there from sounds of the show or a solution to this to add to the game. I would like to see what is in some of these guys sound packs but don’t know how that works.Comment

Re: Help to add music
The sound packs that are on these forums have the correct batter walkup music clips, pitcher entrance music, HR celebration horns and songs, vendors, hecklers from the crowd (although I think some of those are fake), ambient sounds effects such as police sirens in the background or birds chirping etc, organ music, crowd chants, tv station intro music and the teams win and loss songs after the game. I might have left some things out, but you get the idea. It really makes the game come alive and I hope that you find a way to get them installed somehow. I will say though that it took me like 3 days of multiple hours a day to get them set up properly once I had them installed. It's not hard to do, but it is very time consuming.Comment

Re: Help to add music
I followed your advice and was able to get some sound packs for this game. Thanks for your help and making the game more enjoyable for me. I am really shocked at how little effort the game developers put into the sounds of team stadiums and need to put more effort into making the game feel more realistic. Thanks for your advice and helping me get a better game this year.Comment

Re: Help to add music
I would also like to get some help with adding music to the game. I have just got a ps4 and it doesn't seem to recognise my music files on my usb. I have created a folder called music, as per the instructions in the above posts, but it will not display them. I had no such problems with the games on the ps3 and I know how to add the music to the jukebox etc. I am finding this very frustrating and I would love to have my favourite music in the game as it really adds to the enjoyment. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.Comment

Re: Help to add music
PS4 and SotS do not recognize the Apple format. All files must be mp3. You also MUST create a folder titled MUSIC on the usb drive to which the files go in. And yes, it MUST be all caps or the PS4 won't recognize the folder. Once you have the MUSIC folder and mp3 files in it, you can upload your music in game.Comment

Re: Help to add music
Format the USB to ExFAT, create a folder called MUSIC and use mp3 files, then you should be able to transfer the files.YouTube: MLB The Show 21 Atlanta Braves FranchiseComment

Re: Help to add music
Thanks for the advice guys. I think the problem may be that my music is in the wma format rather than mp3. I have done as you both suggested by creating a folder called Music and formatting to ex-fat but it still didn't work so this is the only thing that I can come up with. Do you think that could possibly be the problem and any recommendations on the best way to convert to mp3 format? Thanks again.Comment

Re: Help to add music
I'm having issues as well. I've never had issues adding music until this year. My PS4 said my .mp3's were corrupt, which didn't make sense, then I converted music bought straight from iTunes to AAC and they would play in the media player, but had the same problem when I tried to upload them through The Show's importer. I'm going to try a new formatted FlashDrive today. Anybody have any suggestions or ideas?Comment

Re: Help to add music
I was able to get my music files converted to mp3 and they play perfectly on the ps4. However, I am also now having issues with the import music option in the game itself. It asks me to select which usb device I wish to use (there only is one) but the screen below is completely blank and gives me no options to select. It's very frustrating especially given that I thought I had now solved the problem. Has anyone encountered this issue or have any idea what the problem is?Comment
