Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
How do you guys handle these settings?
I don't really understand Show Ratings > Max or Show Potential < Actual
Also apparently clicking Overall rating based on AI, takes into account the players past two year stats and current year and re-evaluates. So if a highly rated player has had two decent seasons the past two years, his ratings will drop instead of still being highly rated. It would make the AI think twice about signing a guy if he is having a horrible season. You have to mess with other ratings and there seems to be no known best option.Attached FilesLast edited by Brandwin; 05-04-2013, 10:12 PM.Comment

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
The only things I do different than bk is 20-80 for all scales (it's by increments of 5, so basically a 5+ real life thing would be a 55) and I have overall rating based on AI evaluation.
I have the AI evaluation weights (set up in the next tab or two) as 40% ratings, 30% this year stats, 20% last year stats, 10% 2 years ago stats.badComment

So you guys do use the AI Eval? Seems like prospects are rated too low when using it, no?
What are advantages and disadvantages to it? It seems the best way to go since its not just ratings based.Comment

I do, because it gives a much better picture of performance at a glance - so I don't have to pore over every single profile looking for stats.
Obviously prospects start out with a low overall because 60% of mine is production based - and they have no production. That quickly changes though once everything starts playing out.
Its just the OVR number effected by it, anyways. I don't pay too much attention to OVR/POT, more so to the individual ratings.badComment

When you get the game, go to the Add Ons Central and download and install the 2013 All In One Mod, that's all you will need.Comment
