Finished my first month with the Jays and as you can see, I'm faring a lot better than the real life Jays are. I will post my Braves screenies after I get through the month on that save.
Well, the good news is that I score a ton of runs and get on base. Because I play out all my games, I set strict plate discipline on all my players. As a result, I walk a lot and give my big hitters opportunities to drive in runs. While Bautista has really struggled, Encarnacion has been amazing with 40 RBI's. Having Reyes has been great too.
The bad news - the pitching
Other than Morrow and to a lesser extent, Johnson, the rest of them have all struggled. Buerhle and Dickey have been especially bad which has replicated their performances IRL. The bullpen has also been terrible with my only trusted relievers being Janssen, Oliver, and Rogers. The rest of them have been terrible. The defense has also been shaky, but Lawrie's return should helpBonifacio's injury hurt and losing Romero meant losing a middle relief spot starter. Hoping that McGowan doesn't experience any setbacks and that the team continues to play well. Right now, I'm looking for relief help and some help at 2nd base.
