Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
I can help you; I work for the company. First, check out this page in the OOTP manual, which explains how to import historical teams:
RE finding the database: Are you on a PC or Mac? On a Mac, you will need to go into Library>Application Support>Out of the Park Developments>OOTP Baseball 14>stats
If you're on a Mac and have a more recent version of OS X, you'll need to click the Go menu in the Finder and hold down the option key to reveal the hidden Library folder. If you bought a Mac App Store version of the game, the data is actually elsewhere, so LMK if that's the case and I'll help you find it.
If you're on a PC, check the folder where the game is installed and look for the data folder, inside which is the stats folder where you'll find the database in question.
BTW, OOTP 15 makes this a lot easier to do - you don't have to mess with the database anymore. You just set up a fictional league and then choose the teams you want from drop downs. But I realize not everyone is able to upgrade to the latest version of the game, so that's an FYI for the future.
LMK if you have any other questions and I can help you. Same with anyone else on this thread.

Re: ***The Official OOTP Thread***
It could be my laptop, but does anyone else feel like OOTP 15 sims really, really, slow? I was going to do a fictional league and sim 10 years ahead and then take a team over, it was taking forever to even sim a month.Comment
