I'll definitely buy it. Like the article said, I'd much rather buy one MLB game and one college baseball game every year than two MLB games.

Of course, if there had been a true MVP 2006, I may have been able to get both in one game.

They have about a 40-60 game season,Then they have conference tournaments much like college basketball each team that wins their conference title gets an automatic bid into the baseball field of 64 or 32 I'm not quite sure the number, of course they also have their own selection show where at large teams are selected, from there they go into regionals 4 teams play its double elimination, then they go to super regionals rinse and repeat the process of double elimination finally they have the college world series which is 8 teams and they play double elimination as well, I don't really remember. I went to the 2003 World Series as a HS graduation present.... an amazing event with a week full of baseball... one of the greatest weeks of my life.

It like college basketball. Most conferences don't start conference play until about 15-20 games into the year. Then you have a conference tourney with an automatic bid. Then you have regionals(4 teams, double elimination) and super regionals(2 regional champions, best of 3). Then its the College World Series. The CWS is double elimination and split into 2 brackets. The bracket winners face off in a best of 3 championship series.

In the Big 10 most teams play 10-15 non-conference games before the conference game then continue to play a couple non-conference games. Typically a 2 game series (non-conference) Tuesday and Wednesday then a 4 game series (conference) from Friday-Sunday.

That'd be sweet. Especially if the made it "backward compatible" and somehow found a way to import back into MVP 2005. It'd probably only for for xbox though, as you'd need a patch for MVP to get able to import classes, so you could download it on XL

Thats GREAT news!!!!! I love watching college baseball. If something is in the works I hope they anounce it sometime before the CWS is over. That would be a good time to start to hype the game. This is a game that I have waited so long for. Hopefully it will happen!
