In the Big 10 most teams play 10-15 non-conference games before the conference game then continue to play a couple non-conference games. Typically a 2 game series (non-conference) Tuesday and Wednesday then a 4 game series (conference) from Friday-Sunday.

You're just a LITTLE off there, grismosw. Most teams only play one mid-week non-conference game. Some leagues play a 3 game weekend conference series, others play 4 games, with the Saturday game being a double-header.

The postseason works like this...64 teams get into the NCAA Tournament. The tournament starts out broken down into 4 team regions. Within each region, the four teams are seeded 1-4. #1 plays #4 first, #2 plays #3. The regionals are double elimination.

After the regionals, each advancing team moves on to the Super Regionals. The Super Regionals are simply a best 2 out of 3 series. Each school that wins in their respective Super Regional moves on to Omaha for the College World Series.

8 teams make it to the College World Series. They break them up into 2 four-team brackets, and it's double elimination there too, until they get down to the final 2 teams. The last two teams left then play a best 2 out of 3 series to determine the National Champion.

It's really a unique and fun postseason...

Oh, and I would be among the first in line to purchase a College Baseball video game...I think it would rock!

i hope its true i have been wanting a college baseball game since the sega days. i dont see why they dont make one if they can make a rugby game.

I know I was just playing around. I said that because if mvp would have been able to come out next year, it could've and probably would have been the greatest baseball console game of all time.
