-WBC integration (not sure if The Show has it or not)
-Graphics (Which are X-Box and which are PS2?)
-Collision detection
-In-Depth Scouting Reports
-Smooth Presentation
-Load and Fire Swing (I am really starting to like this on NCAA)
-Online Scouting (see which guys bring in SP as relievers)
-Inside Edge (I like some facets of this, including the catcher setting up where you should aim; that is cool)
CONS
-Inside Edge (I could do without all the percentages on screen, I hope is optional)
-Load and Fire Swing (it's implementation is a bit off from NCAA; pull back and let go for contact swing; pull back and push up for power)
-Lack of Pitch and Throw Meters (I feel these should be standard, or at least an option)
What is the Slam Zone?
-Smaller, tighter scoreboard during gameplay (I despise the scrolls)
-40-Man Rosters (FINALLY! I just hope this applies to roster files as well)
-Swing System (I can settle for this because I used to play the 989 series a lot)
-King of the Diamond (I love these small games like the hitting one)
-Presentation (looks slick, I like it, a definite step up from previous years)
-Career Mode (I love the individual stuff because I like making myself)
CONS
-Graphics (appear unchanged from PS1 days if you ask me; does not stack up with 2K6)
-Swing System (I would much prefer the Load and Fire type)
-Talk of "Bugs and Glitches" in terms of stadiums and player models
-AI problems
-No WBC integration (that I am aware of, if you know otherwise, let me know)
I realize it is difficult to compare a game that IS released and another that is still pending. However, I hope this thread gets a discussion about these two games because I am really scratching my head on which one to get.
