Re: MVP 2005 vs. MLB 2k6
This will either be locked or moved. For your best bet, post this in the Baseball (Other) forum.
But, if my opinion means anything... I preferred MLB 2K5 over MVP 2005. I'm just going to go ahead and assume that what they've improved/changed are going to be favorable in what I prefer, so I think it's safe to say that I choose MLB 2K6 over MVP 2005 also.
MLB '06: The Show is a terrific baseball game as well. I like it over MVP 2005, that's for sure. I don't quite think I'll get the 500+ games in as I did with 2K5, however.

From my play so far with 2k6 I would be more than satisfied if all EA did is update rosters and put in the new schedules for season/owner mode.Comment

MVP was fun, my main game I played last year.
But it was too arcady and the hitting system was AWFUL."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Also, it was so easy to preload your swing to press up-and-in and just wait for a pitch on the inner half of the plate and crush it."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
