As far as the player getting walks... MVP 05.

Even I got walks, and I'm a hacker at the plate.

The American League average is about 8.5 walks per 100 plate appearances (ab+bb). Adjusting the sliders to a pitch control of -12 on the PS2 version, I have been able to get a walk rate of about 6.0 per 100 plate appearances using CPU vs. CPU testing.

This is pretty reasonable. A little more tweaking should get me to 8.5. The problem is the pitch control adjustment downward has caused batting averages to EXPLODE!

      With Pitch Control at -15
and Bat Contact all the way down to -32

I still get a batting average of .350! I cannot adjust the Bat Contact down much farther, so I am going to have to try different combinations.

One thing I have had success with in CPU vs CPU tests is HR Power. Putting the Bat Power down to -45 yields about 11.8 HRs per 100 hits, which is right in line with last season's real AL numbers.

I say ASB 05...generated counts were a great feature.

          Yes it was.

I'm getting reasonable walk stats in MLB 2k7, trying to stay disciplined while batting and always aiming for the target while pitching.
