I just spent the last half hour looking through the "tour" over on the ASB site.... Man, talk about ambitious! Even the video for "Scenario Mode" looked really cool (love how they use the grainy film to set up the different scenarios). I agree with someone else who said that ASB's franchise/menu stuff blows away Madden/NFL2k3 and raises the bar.

I just hope that they put as much effort into on the field stuff...and I don't doubt that they did. That "broken bat" video scares me though.... the ball wasn't within 2 feet of the bat and yet there was contact. (A broken bat, in fact.) Maybe it was just from an early build.

Yeah...I agree...I think they went for the features this year, and even admitted that they did not fine tune gameplay all that much. But they sure as heck loaded up on features! They had a few gameplay tweaks to make so maybe they got those out of the way early...the problems were evident when last year's game was released so they probably knew they had to address them anyway.

This is going to be a bomb of a year for baseball games. No matter what you are looking for, there should be a game that provides it...

Personally I like to see good gameplay before the features. Who cares how good the features are if the game plays sub par.
