This is something that I really wished existed, so when no one else was creating it, I decided to do it myself. FUTCast is an all-in-one Ultimate resource built for the busy sports gamer. For that, I give it a tie with 2K7, which with the right sliders plays a decent game of ball and is very pretty to look at. If Spirits had an English component, I'd probably like it better. As of now, it is my "off" baseball game---whenever I need a change of pace.
