OK - I just simmed through a season as the Phillies, and in my second season, my home games are now at "Future Philly".
So it works.

Wow, next thing I know someone is going to tell me that I can edit the name of the stadium to change it from "Future Philly", to whatever it eventually will be called.

Re: All Star Baseball... First Impressions & Questions for those with the game
How is the gameplay?
Is it better than IGN's rating of 6?
Ever since IGN started sucking I haven't given their reviews much credibility, and it seems that in this instance they may be off once again?
Is the gameplay good or bad? That is important, even moreso than all the nice features and new stadiums...Comment

I've done batting practice there ... and you can use it for exhibition games (as well as future ones for SD, Oakland, Fenway, Shea, Twins, Wrigley, yankee, and a DC Stadium) ... I understand in franchise that these teams do move to new digs ... suffer through one season at the Vet, and you get the new Stadium.

This honestly sounds too good to be true for me.
If they implemented this feature that is by far the coolest and most impressive thing I have yet to see implemented in a baseball game.
It also shows they really made a serious effort to make this game better in every way possible.
I am very skeptical of this being true though, as the fact that teams move into their future stadiums is almost unbelievable for me.
I can believe they are in the game, but moving into them as a franchise progresses seems very unlikely, and I am going to be very skeptical about this.. It just seems too good to be true.

Grondar, Im pretty sure that this will be a feature in this years ASB. i remember last year when there was a chat with PJ Snavely and users asked if teams would move into new stadiums as franchise progressed. Pj said that they were wroking on it for last years game but couldny fully implement it so they decided to save it for this years game. i wouldnt be surprised if this is a feature this yearComment

When you simmed your season, did you get a new schedule in 2004 or is it the same one again?

I opened @ the Marlins both years, so I'm guessing it's the same....
