Re: All Star Baseball... First Impressions & Questions for those with the game

When someone delves into the create a player mode could you reply here?

I have a question, but instead of asking it every 15 minutes I will just hold off until someone checks it out, and then I will see if they can find an answer for me.

    Thanks.

Ok just so you all know, I'm on All Star with Zone batting, and chappy summed up batting nicely. I really dont like it.

There is no futures game from what I've seen, there IS a future legends game that has guys from the MLB legens team though. Im confused. Anyways...

I found something that pissed me off all last year. I was FL vs MLBL and I cranked one with Gehrig, and the other teams OFer caught it. The only problem is when I viewed the replay it looked as if it bouced off the ground and into is glove and called an out. This has happened a few times now. They catch balls 5 feet away from them. I dont think it bounced off the ground, but it went past his glove then miraculously flew back up into his mitt. Not only is this game realistic and hard, it's magical too.

        BTW, they have roster updates.

Bought it, Played it, returning it. It's dissapointing. I expected something more. And from what I've seen, it's still a homer fest, I hit 2 in each of the first 3 innings of the 3 games I've played so far. I am going with WSB, MVP and HH. THis game isnrt worth it.

Exactly what I figured. No shock here, ASB has always been a sub par game, no different once again. Ahh wells, maybe next season acclaim, probably not.

Sorry about the double question. I thought I saw something about it but I was just making sure. By any chance could you see if Kevin Millar is now on the BoSox? That was pretty recent (done in February).

He isn't on the Red Sox in the downloadable roster update. I did know about this trade, and checked.

But (and here is where my fuzzy baseball knowledge shows) wasn't he a scab? Or am I thinking of someone else? I know there's someone who always needs to be created, because the MLBPA won't accept any scabs.
