Anyone playing this on the Wii? How are the controls?

    Thanks in advance!

BTW, Japanese fans got completely kicked in the balls. They don't even know full edit is in right now. They're gonna be PISSED.
I plan on editing the stuffing out of my copy but is there a way to share save files for the Wii?

You can copy save files on the Wii to a SD card, then copy the file from the SD card to your PC or laptop (many laptops have a built-in SD card reader). Might be a bit difficult to figure out the specific files if you have multiple Wii saves on the SD card (they use a bit of a weird naming convention), but if the SD card doesn't have any Wii saves on it to begin with it should be easy to figure out. From there it should be easy to share, just zip up the files and host it somewhere.

I was going to get this anyway but full player edit mode is icing on the cake. Hopefully I can find this tomorrow.

Since the season is officially over, it should be easy to edit everything accurately. I actually know where to get the "key" to what exact numbers lead to what stats. For example C contact is .300-.320 batting average. B power with 3 arch is 15-25 homers. This is for a 140 game season in small Japanese parks, so who knows what that could mean for MLB. Shouldn't be too different.

BTW, I don't have a Wii, so I could only help out with the PS2 save file.

So we still don't know if there is a edit mode?

Just saw it, I missed it for some reason. This just makes my day, but my wife is going to hate me for a few days.

Also got the call from Gamestop.

                    Tomorrow it is...can't freaking wait!

I'm more excited about this then I was for NBA 2k8. But I also love baseball more than basketball so that's why.

Good, cause I am playing it on the PS3, so I am glad someone is playing it on the PS2 and not only the Wii.

Got mine!! Man was it an ordeal!! I went to the Best buy nearest to me on 23rd and 6th ave. I ask for it, the guy goes to the back and brings it out. Some other guy goes completely out of his way to make sure it's never handed to me. He says that they can't sell it till thursday yada yada..I call a manager over, the manager says fine you can have it..The first guy jumps in again, shows the manager the computer screen that shows the release date. The manager changes his mind and says no way. Fine, I take the train up to the best buy on 43 street and it's a completely different experience. I ask for it, the guy says "i've already taken them up to the register"..I go to the register and bingo! By the way, great work everyone!! I thought I'd have to wait till Thursday!

                        Go Yankees!
                        Go Packers!
                        Go RedBulls!

Very cool. It always feels great to get a game before release. I'll have to wait a bit longer for the US version, which is pretty much THE version, in my opinion.

BTW, I read some pages in this thread and would like to give a definitive answer to the person who asked how long the average game is. The average game in Pawapuro is between 20 and 30 minutes. 20 being Mark Buehrle and 30 being that classic 13 inning game last night. It's definitely more convenient than Pro Yakyu Spirits, which is more like an American game, and lasts around 45-60 minutes for a full game. Despite the shortened average game time, you don't feel cheated at all. It's pretty great.

Sounds like Best Buy is your best bet. Some Best Buy stores had the game advertised in their local Sunday flyer, said the game is for sale on Tuesday after 2 PM.

If it's in the ad, they HAVE to sell it to you. False advertising is a bad bad thing for retailers...
