I have read and talked with some people very close to the ASB title, and there will be many different options for batting. You can make the cursor look different as the last poster said, 2D, 3D, and a couple other looking cursors as well. Also, there is a simple timing based batting interface and also a zone hitting kind of like HH. You get to make it how you want it. I've also been told that the pitches will have much more break on the balls than last year, and you have two options of pitch speed. One other myth, many have heard and read in an interview that ASB will not have changing schedules...this is untrue. ASB '04 will have changing schedules from year to year...GUARANTEED! I've been told that no matter what options you use for the game, it is very close to sim as you can get. The homeruns are tuned down from last year. Also, many people are concerned with the movies of ASB and other titles as well....that too many hits seem to be occuring. Lets face it, watching a groundball to SS and being thrown out at first just isnt near as exciting as watching Jeter blast one into right field. They put the movies out to sell their product, to make it look exciting. ASB and MVP are looking to be great sims of baseball. As far as that goes, HH'04 is a great sim, just a headache IMO, and seems to have a gameplay bug or two or three. As for the other titles, I don't know anything about them, can't comment.
Thank you
