    Re: closing thoughts on ASB

Please man, stop whining! Ok, I get that you don't like the game, but why do you have to make yourself sound better than those of us who like to play this game. I really think that it is the deepest baseball game on any console. I have played HH2004, and all I can say is good luck. The is pretty realistic, but wait until you are playing a franchise, and the cpu starts sending all of his top players down to the minors. For HH2004, on the field its realistic, off the field its terrible! But hey, as you said, to each his own, and I prefer ASB2004!

The other difference that I see is how the cpu manages the game. Just my opinion though.

haha!! i've been a HH fan for years now.... but after giving ASB04 (XBox) a shot.... i took back my HH - THE NEXT DAY. Good luck with the choppy animations, all the players looking the same, horrible camera problems. Ew, I so don't miss my HH04. It's ALL about ASB04 this year.

I don't seem to have the problems you do, batzilla, and I am a HORRIBLE video game player.

Take the game back and buy HH or WSB. I hope one (or both) of these titles is more suited to your tastes. Since you hate ASB so much I would recommend that you not buy it next year. Save your money.

Personally, I am having more fun playing ASB than I have had playing a baseball game in a long time (and I used to play HIgh Heat only).

                  To each his own.

After reading the word "AckLame", I lost some respect for your post. After readin the entire post without a single comma, I lost more.

As for you hitting problems with e A button, IT'S CALLED A CHECK SWING!!!!! Hold the button down to complete the swing you idio....oh, yeah it's againt the rules to say that word here. Too bad it's perfectly alright to post a rambling, incoherent post from the viewpoint of a troll.

I understand if you don't like the game - it's not for everyone. But when you read other posts you'll start to understand why so many people (myself included) find this to be the best baseball game around.

Being a High Heat convert, I've been playing exclusively with the zone batting. Have you even tried this? My first few games at the veteran level were real tough (1-3 runs per game) but I'm 13 games into my franchise and I'm leading the league in HRs and second in runs while batting .298 with the Yanks.

While I agree that everything that happens in ASB after the ball is hit may not be as realistic as HH, the battle between pitcher and batter is so much more intense and realistic in ASB. Unlike HH, pitches in ASB don't move like a wiffle ball. No way a Curt Schilling fastball starts at the belt and ends up at the mid-thigh 60 ft. 6in. later. Everything from the pitcher animations to the most accurate batting stances in any baseball videogame just blows HH away, IMO. I'm going to pick up the new HH just to see if they've really improved the series but it'll be just out of curiousity. I've already found my baseball game this year....
