I wish I could, but I don't think there is any kind of transfer device methods for the wii.

Am I correct with this guys? Don't know the hardware and software too much for the wii, but I think I remember last year people said it couldn't be done.

If I had a Ps2 I could do it. There might be some ps2 guys here who will probably do it.

How are the stats and what not, is the game sim like?

How are the rosters, can you make trades and fix the rosters?

The game is very sim. Dont let the characters fool you. The stat-tracking is unbelievable, and once you get your settings right, the experience is very simulation-oriented.

You can arrange rosters in this mode called "Arrange Mode" but there are no roster files for the Wii so no sharing is possible unfortunately.

You can use the Wii Remote to play, but unless you're in the specific Wii remote mode (really dumbed down), you still actually press buttions instead of doing motion. Home Run Derby is with remote motion though.

Man I just saw the craziest camera angle.

I'm up 7-5 top of the 9th, I;m the White Sox.

Tigers have 2 runners on, 2 outs, Sheffield hits a SHOT but it's right on the line, but as he swung and made contact, the camera switched to behind the plate, and up close of his swing with the ball in the distance and the foul pole lined up,,,hooking,,,,foul.

It was awesome, I can;t remember if it happaned to me last year or not.

I don't think there is a way to transfer Wii saves. I tried every way possible with last years game to get a PP save onto an SD card but could never do it. I heard there is an Action Replay device coming out for the Wii, but it hasn't been released yet.

This was the main reason I went with the PS2 version this year. As a bonus, I saved $20

Why is it hard to transfer files, most PC have 5-1 media card reader, can't you just take the files off the SD card when you put it in your media card read and share that way. Most laptops have the media card readers, mine does.

The PP Wii save file can't be transferred over to SD unfortunately.

The issue is getting a save from the Wii onto an SD card. The PP saves are stored in the Wiis system memory or drive and cannot be moved to an SD card.

why not. Whey you save your data, can't you save it to the card instead of the system?

Yes, it goes as long as 10 years. The career mode for created players goes up to 20 years.

Yeah, it doesn't help that they call it "season" mode - which makes you think it's a one-and-done type of sim mode. I remember last year I only found out by accident that I could continue to the next year.

I take it you don't read the dialogue between the GM and the secretary.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

"You'll not find more penny-wise/pound-foolish behavior than in Major League Baseball." - Rob Neyer
