MLB Extra Innings
I'm getting a free preview of this for the week, but I was wondering if anyone here has it, and how good is it as far as getting games for one team? I actually want to watch the Pirates this year, but I'm not sure how many games of theirs I'll actually get.“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F. Kennedy to Al Gore. If this is evolution, I believe that in twelve years, we'll be voting for plants.” - Lewis BlackTags: None -

I have it. Had it last year, and loved it. You will get tons of your pirates, because they are covered on Fox Sports Net. MLB extra innings only deals with a few different cable providers (Fox Sports Net - mainly, but also YES Network , Comcast Baltimore , etc). Some teams get shown all the time, others not so often. Another issue is the fact that you can't get games : 1) On Wednesday night - espn owns the rights to all wed night games. 2) Saturday Afternoon games - FOX has the rights to all sat afternoon games. Other than that its great, definately worth the $140 for early bird.

Same here. Since I live in NYC, all I get are Mets and Yankees games (and I hate both of them!)“In my lifetime, we've gone from Eisenhower to George W. Bush. We've gone from John F.
