Actually, if you read the fine print its pretty much useless. They are only giving away 1000 copies of 2004, and 500 of 2003. So 1,500 copies. I bet they are already gone. That and the fact that you had to send in the offer by 4/5. And by sending in the offer you need a copy of your cable bill with the charge on it. Its a big headache, not even really worth it.

BK, you are lucky! According to DirecTV, your zip code defines whether or not you are in a teams viewing area, and thus they reserve the right to blackout certain games.

Maybe with the Halos, Pads and Dodgers in So Cal the zip code thing is less restrictive.

Here it most likely has to do with the broadcast rights with FOXSports. I remember reading they pay x amount to broadcast x amount of home games. That's all well and good, but why on earth would they black out road games?

I think you got screwed Howie. I am actually watching the Angels and Rangers right now. Watched the Dodgers, D-Backs last night.

Although I do get some Angel and Dodger games blacked out. But its not very often.

What pisses me off with mlb xtra innings, and I've had it for 3 seasons now, is that espn and fox reserve the rights to the games Wednesday and saturday afternoon. I'm OK with that except Make all of the games available!!!!!! Freaking lawyers are the root of all evil.

Amen. From the horses mouth; "The Rangers, Astros, Spurs and Stars are all blacked out in your area, but they should all be available on FoxSouthwest." Yeah, sure.
