PYS5:K -- Play Asia or NSCX?

Just curious which one ships faster. I pre-ordered with NSCX but the game is still taking pre-orders and not shipping. Play Asia says it ships w/i 24 hours. When you guys buy these games, which service do you use, and which one gets you the game the fastest?

    Thanks.

I have always used PlayAsia, and have never had a problem ... I cant speak for NSCX, since I have not used them.

NSCX is in NY I think, while Play Asia is in Hong Kong. So Play Asia will likely have theirs in stock first, and when they say "Ships within 24hrs" this means they have it in stock. If it says "Ships within (a certain amount of) days" I recommend NOT ordering.

There's also Japan Video Games, located in California. I'm on the West Coast USA and they ship to me very fast, though like NSCX I think it'll be at least a few days before they get the latest PYS in stock.

Mine shipped from Play-Asia at the beginning of the week. I used a $5.00 off coupon from the last game I bought from them and got it for $72 shipped. It usually takes about a week for games to arrive in Arizona using the economy air box choice.

I agree if you are paying by Pay Pal because it takes a while to get a refund.

I just checked my order and it says that they shipped my order, so maybe they just shipped your order.

Good call, NSCX shipped. So just like domestic distributors, it looks like they got it before and just waited for ship day. Great news and I hope to see it early next week (UPS ground from NY to me in Reno, NV).

I work with some Japanese exchange students so we are already planning an all night event. Should be fun. We're going to have to flip coins or something to see who gets the Giants and Lions

Thanks for the heads up ... going to have to check out NCSX!

Let us know how the game is!

Just got the game, its pretty much the same but the cpu a.i is much better. There is also a lot of new batting stances but not too sure on pitching motions. So Far I played 3 games and this game plays much better than the first PYS5. It also comes with a huge 255 page booklet that introduces each team's players and managers but i think thats only for the first edition, only problem is that its in japanese, well for me.

You also get 150,000 vp shop points if you have saves from the first PYS5 but for some reason my brother got 300,000 when he started the game.

How is the gameplay? And the animations/variety? Fielding?

                      Thanks.

The gameplay feels pretty much the same just with a little cpu a.i tweaks(i.e. a lot of pitches thrown out of the strike zone= more walks) the fielding feels a little easier. I haven't played that many games to see any new animations but when i do i'll be sure to mention them. Every stadium has updated looks like the Seibu Lion's field is now grassy turf instead of turf and the new left field seats in Chiba Lotte are in. The baseball has a more realistic movement on the field and i'm not too sure if konami took it out or not there is no more cutscenes for foul balls.
