i like both this and the show the same. In the show it feels like you have more control of your players while in PYS5 is not hard but it has a learning curve. In PYS5, hitting is the best part of the game because just like baseball you have to have a good eye and it feels very rewarding to get a hit. Both games represent each league perfectly.

The gameplay feels pretty much the same just with a little cpu a.i tweaks(i.e. a lot of pitches thrown out of the strike zone= more walks)...

More pitches outside the zone... This is good news. That was the main reason I ditched PYS5.

I'm very much looking forward to the next version in the spring.

i played a game where i walked two times in a row, one on 4 straight pitches and the other on a 3-1 count. Anyone thinking about geting this game should just wait for PYS6 which should come out on may 1st like it has the past two years.

Do the graphics look the same i.e. players or has there been a touch up. I am a sucker for b-ball games as well & plan to get it. Are the menus pretty much the same?

The graphics are probably the same or maybe slightly better, i really saw no difference. Everything is pretty much the same even the menus, konami pretty much added new animations like batting stances and pitching motions and tweaked the cpu a.i.

Recalling PYS5, it wasn't so much the lack of pitches outside the zone that killed it for me, as much as it was the fact that pretty much every pitch outside the zone just missed and was a borderline pitch.

Is this still true? Or do you see more pitches in the dirt, and up around the eyes, and the like?

Unfortunately that still exists, the CPU still throws borderline pitches.

I know i am nitpicking but what do you mean when u say the b-ball has more realistic movement on the field. Do you see more high pop ups for outs rather than mostly line drives. Are there more choppers in the infield?

Re foul balls, what happens when one is hit if no cut scene? Does camera stay at same angle and game resume? Are there any changes in the sounds of the game?

What i mean by more realistic movement i mean that the ball doesn't move as fast as it did in the previous version giving you more time to get to a groundball. As for the foul ball cutscene, in the previous version if you foul a ball back they should a cutscene showing the ball going towards the fans behind you, now they keep the camera on whatever batting camera you're playing with instead of following the ball. That only happens when you hit a foul ball towards the not when you hit a foul ball towards the OF. I heard no sound changes in the game.

I ordered the game. Last Q, do you get VP points of the bat for having PYS 4 or 5

My game shipped Dec.3 from play-asia. I did the air economy box, does anyone know about how long it takes to ship to the US? I'm in WA state.

Supposedly it takes 5-10 days to delivery according to play-asia so you might get in between the 8th and 13th. When I ordered PYS5 earlier this year I got it in a week and I live in NY so you might get the game quicker than I did.

Yes you do get vp points for having PYS4 or PYS5. I'm not sure how much because when I started the game i got 150,000 and when my brother started the game he got 300,000.

Since this is turning into a questions thread, I had one...

I read a translation guide and it says:

After that, it gives you two options. You can start Pennant immediately or tweak to your liking using customized teams. We'll go with the bottom option. Then you'll have two options.

1. Modify teams
2. Start with default teams

What does the modify teams option do? What exactly can you modify.

As for me, UPS says I will get it on the 11th...that was with UPS Ground so that is 7 days. Not too bad. This is my first PYS game so I am really excited!
