Lets Help make Pro Spirits in English

I have tryed for years to find a direct email to someone on the Konomi team to think about making that game in english.

First off with Blue Ray (PS3) there is more than enough space to make an english version. As a baseball fan we see more and more Japan greats playing here in the US, thus we are interested in the title. We buy the import, people make a translation guide...so there is interest!

Also with the exclusive contracts it would provide a great baseball without the worry of the MLB license.

Can someone here give me an email to someone on the Pro Spirits team to write and request. Perhaps we can band together and hit them with a ton of request emails. Thanks

Go on Japanese baseball.com and look for Big Man Zam in the forums. I believe he has also tried contacting staff at Konami.

Great idea snake...I was thinking the same thing..im sure it is possible..Im not sure how many copies it would sell if there was an english version but I am pretty sure that it will sell a lot more than it is selling now.

I'd be happy to see 2K bring it over. Also, it disaapoints me that PowerPros hasn't made the jump to current gen consoles.

I don't think 2k would bring it over. With the state of MLB2k, this would really make it look bad. What they should do is seek Konami's help in making a game modeled after Pro Yakyu

i wouldnt mind an english patch or something if theyre willing to do it. I really would not want to see konami getting into the baseball genre here.

at the moment, ill just wait for pys6 and try some sites that are good at translating certain aspects of the game

I think if you translated it into English and released it separately or as a patch you are somewhat losing/deteriorating the fun of the game.

It's a Japanese baseball game therefore it should be in Japanese language.

I don't agree with that. If you can have multiple language options, it only adds to the amount of people who can experience it. Obviously it would still be available in Japanese. I won't purchase it (as much as I'm curious about it) because I honestly don't want to put in the effort to break the language barrier. I can't argue whether it may dampen the experience for some (it's subjective, I know), but they can just keep it in Japenese. It would be a no-lose, IMO.

There isnt enough people here that would be interested in it for them to make a profit on it. Ya there people on here talking about it would be interested the the casual baseball fan wouldnt think twice about buying a foreign baseball. game.

It's a Japanese game, involving Japanese teams and made exclusively for the Japanese market. I think it's pretty obvious why there is no existant release of a different language.

*Edit: Personally, I think the game would suffer from language options. I don't have a clue what is being said but nor do I care, because to me, I am participating in an authentic Japanese baseball experience. I'd be pissed if some guy waffled in English all through the games.

i think most of us would be happy to have a translated menu and that stuff, just to understand how to do a trade or adjust some options. Because of that i don't buy this game, cause i wouldn't know how to do anything. I'd just like to have english menues, i wouldn't care if the commentators and stuff would still be in japanese. I just wanna be able to play this game without translation guide (which doesn't help in all areas of the game). I think that wouldn't be too expensive for the publisher, cause in america and europe would be a lot more buyers of this game. That's the only thing i want and i think most of you will agree.
