Yea, it's not the game, it's the system, the original PS2's had a problem reading the CD ROM discs (blue discs), but if you put it verticle, it seems to fix it for the most part, the newer versions don't have a problem at all. I'm not sure how to tell which one you have, but sounds like it's the old one, I know you can call Sony, and give them your serial number, and immediately they will tell you what it is, and will even upgrade it for you too. It just takes a long *** time to do so through mail and all.

I don't think it is the original PS2's, I have one and had no freezes with HH or any other blue disc game, I think it maybe PS2's released right after the launch, at least that is what I seem to see more than anything else.

It's funny How everyone either bashes the game for one reason or another but can "ALMOST" state that other games are flawless. Now with over 100 games on PS2 played..
NO FREEZES and NO 3rd OUT RUNS.
People can state the "rumors" and exagerate them, and add fire to them til Hell freezes. Real people that have HH and play it, regular, know that this is all BS, and for what??
To get more people not to like the game and buy something else.
It's a fact that it takes a heck of a lot to make the 3rd out run happen. If that's not true, make a claim, that it happens regulary. Also about blue disk. Get any other blue disk (CD BASED game) and try to play it before insinuating HH is the cause. Betcha 95% of the guys have shot playstations,. Is that HH's fault. I think not. But under every HH board there's people HATING HH, for mostly these two resaons and only stating these two reason.

What about the fact that statisticly. THE BEST
What about Roster Dept. THE BEST
other games make you limited to 25 players and don't give you room, and know damn sure that there are about 50-60 players they missed. And don't BS me about the roster cut offs. Cause plain and simple I went through all the games including MLB and there are guys that are in the FA list that weren't assigned to a minor league team at all, and they're there, so why not some of the veterans. and I'm not talking about scabs, cause pretty much I know them all.
I have WSB and HH and I think WSB is great, but I also think HH is great, and I don't post and I'm not a "fanboy" or whatever. I LOVE BASEBALL and baseball games that are great to play. These two in my opinion no one can go wrong with. BTW get the PC version if you only issue is Graphics, and sound oh well every game has flaws, including the WSB flaw or renaming guys and the computer still calls them by their original name..
