Ok Luki, when hitting in this game you have to think "realistic" as far as batting goes. Not only do you have to place "the bat on the ball" but you also need to have good timing; and because the pitching speed changes are "realistic" you need to make all necessary adjustments.

So if you sitting on a fastball and the pither throws a change up or slider you will be way ahead of the pitch (and viceversa). Practice, practice, practice...(practice?......we talkin' bout practice) is the best tip for hitting.

Also, if the ball is outside the strike zone it usually ends up in a weak pop-up or grounder; so you need to develop a good eye for the strike zone.

    Hope this helps.

Re: Pro Yakyu Spirits 6 Post-release Thread

One way to get accustomed to hitting would be to use zone hitting. You won't have a cursor, it's just time based. But even with pitching set to real and hard +, you will end up hitting way too many HRs, even with the heavy ball.

So probably the easiest way to learn to hit, would be to set pitching to basic speed, and the AI to easiest, and hitting to lock on. Pitches will practically all be straight down the middle. But you will learn, and everything you hit won't be a homer.

Once you get the hang of that, which will probably be less than half an inning, well move the AI up until you are comfortable.

Once you move the AI up to basic +, you will start getting pitches thrown to you out of the strike zone. So yes, you can still draw walks, just not as many as you can the higher the AI goes.

Re: Pro Yakyu Spirits 6 Post-release Thread

Thanks for all the batting help. I lowered the speed of the pitches for the time beeing, but now I homered 2 2 run homeruns and one 3 run homerun in one game

Will switch back and forth and see how long it takes to play on hard again.

          Thanks once again.

Well domjr.....it depends. If you get a message when you try to connect initially it could be that the server is going thru maintanance or your connection is poor (try re-booting your modem and/or router)...

If you are on the server and are trying to create a match in "free match" and it doesn't allow you in the game room or, it let's you in the game room but doesn't let you set-up a game....again....your connection is poor (try re-booting your modem and/or router)...

If you are on the server and are "matchmaking" in "ranked matches"......that message usually means there is no one to connect....if you know there are people on the server, just continiue trying to connect with someone. Keep in mind that most people like to play 6 INN, you'll get some that like 3 INN and some that like 9 INN (I'm a 9 INN guy myself) but I will once in a while play 6INN if there is no one to play 9INN

It shows that 中symbol for Chunichi's abbreviation on the scoreboard. I've been trying to figure out what that means in that context. Do you know?

You must've put the settings to Digital batting rather than Analog.

I have to select the above option if I'm not mistaken

For some reason I'm having trouble saving my pennant mode. I thought I had it saved last night but when I went to load it (2nd selection after clicking pennant on the main screen) and from what I think it's saying, I don't have a saved season. Any help would be appreciated

Hey guys, I'm getting worried. I ordered PYS6 through Playasia and it still isn't here! They shipped it on the 28th of July, and it has been 9 days! It also took them near a week to process the order (I placed it on the 23rd). Have any of you guys had a problem with them? I am worried that it got lost in the mail, or that because of how my address looked when I went to the shipping page, with my address at the bottom after my city and USA, that it may have been rerouted. I thiink I should have just payed extra for the EMS post.
