    I've been a Chipper Jones fan all of my life and as much as I tried to emulate him as a kid I couldn't do the switch-hitting thing. I've got a compact swing and a mechanism where I really flick my wrists exactly when I swing to generate bat speed so that didn't translate to the left side of the plate.

    Personally, with the flux of K's in the game today I couldn't stand striking out. I'm more of a patient, contact hitter and I'm not afraid of having 2 strikes on me...the one pitch I have trouble with is the changeup low and away. It's not necessarily that I strike out with it, it's more that I roll over on it too much.
