Same here. I just love that darn game. I can't believe I actually play every game in a 162 game season.

Now...I'm a Flyers fan(don't ask how a F.D.N.Y. member can be a Flyers fan...I catch "heat" for it all the time at work ..)....so I'm still stinging from last year a little, but those B-Hawks rings are friggin' awesome.

Without a doubt. I honestly think I would pay $100 for that game. Of course your rosters are always great which contribute a lot of enjoyment.

Sorry man. It was just one of those years where everything clicked. Yes those rings are very nice. They better be at $30K a pop.

Actually 30K seems a lot for those rings. The price must have went up.

The Show is the better overall package, but 2K definitely has a few things in its favor:

-Commentary. It's dynamic in 2K's game and similar to what you'll hear in NBA 2K with stories about teams/players, etc.

-MLB Today. It's cool to play that days' schedule with updated lineups, records, stats. You'll also get up-to-date commentary, too.

-Pitching controls. I love the R-stick pitching mechanics that 2K uses.

Hopefully we will get demos of both games before March 8, so we'll be able to get a better idea of where the games will be on release day.

Again, The Show is without a doubt the better the game, but 2K has at least pulled itself out of the gutter and warrants a look and could be a good change of pace for people, and would be a definite purchase for the guy that plays mostly baseball video games.

For ps3 users I just don't see how there can be a debate! 2k created a game with no injuries or errors! No errors??!! An essential part of baseball! Can you imagine Madden releasing with no first downs? Or nba2k with no free throws?

the show or 2k11 not really a baseball fan and last baseball i game was probably 3 years ago. I don't mind playing the sport but hate watching it just to boring and repetitive. Want to get back into it so what game should i purchase. I do own all 3 systems so i have options i'm not limited to one system

Just my humble opinion but since you have PS3 you have to try The Show. I had not watched/followed baseball for over 10 years but after hearing everything about this game I bought it and fell in love. Now I follow and watch baseball IRL also again. I played the 2k demo and, honestly, it wasnt bad at all. But the Show has set the standard for all video games to match with its graphics, gameplay and franchise mode.

This! No 1 in their right mind that has played both would not say the Show. The show is far superior to 2k.

I finally broke down and bought MLB 10 The Show on ebay for about $12 and I have to say this game is amazing. I have already played a season of RTTS as a SP in the minors and love it. I haven't even touched Franchise yet and haven't gotten into other parts of the game as much as I'd like but have gotten addicted to RTTS. I am an avid OOTP baseball guy and usually stick to text sims for my baseball but The Show has me sold. That said, I doubt I'll be buying 11 any time soon with me just getting into 10 now.

repeat sales from year to year prove consumers prefer Show(as do i)
