    Anyone still playing both games?

I am curious for those that picked up both baseball games this year if you are still playing both games? What do enjoy about each game and what do you dislike? Is it easy to switch back and forth between games?

That is cool. I should have been more specific as I was looking for those that have both MLB 2K11 and MLB 11 The Show.

I've been playing a lot of The Show....some PYS and have shelved 2K11(but it was pre-patch problems that led me to just put it to the side...I haven't patched it and played it again yet, just too involved in my Show franchises...just to be fair here)

Yeah I had 2K11 for a bit pre-patch but there were things I couldn't ignore that caused me to set the game down.

PYS looks cool but I don't think I have the patience to try and translate the game in order to play it.

No I traded in MLB 2k about a month ago. Just didn't enjoy it.

I didn't like the hitting mechanic. I didn't like that high contact low power guys are basically ineffective. I hated the herky jerky animations. I didn't like the player models. And the franchise mode was ridiculously bugged, as it has been every year for this series.

I did like MLB Today. I think that should be in every baseball, basketball game.

I gave it a shot and it wasn't my cup of tea. To each their own.

Man, that pretty much sums up my feelings about MLB 2K11. I liked some of the things the game brought to the table, but the negatives, unfortunately, outweigh the positives.

I would LOVE for The Show to incorporate something like MLB Today or even NBA Live's Dynamic Season into its game. I like the ability to play along with the real calendar of whatever sport game I own, with up-to-date rosters.

This what I'm mostly playing now. I'm alternating playing both my seasons.

Add me to the list of those who are currently playing MLB The Show '11 AND PSY 2011. Really enjoying both of them.

Traded 2K11 awhile back, like someone else said, I just wasn't enjoying it. Gave it a chance though.

Re: Anyone still playing both games?

I'm playing The Show almost exclusively since I'm so involved in my franchise. I have kept my 2K11 on PC mostly up to date with mods though, and will probably play it more in the off-season.

I want to get into a 2K11 franchise since the commentary and stat-tracking is so good, but I only really have time for one and, for me at least, 2K still needs more work to be able to get past the hiccups for the long haul of running a franchise.

I do still play the occasional MLB Today game in 2K11 as well. I agree that it's an awesome feature and I find it perfect for if I'm just trying to get a quick baseball fix.

I just recently got my first PS3 (on my 4th or 5th XBOX) so I've been debating picking up the Show. Seems like everyone really loves it. I bought 2k11 because it was my only option at the time. I like(not love) it so that's why I haven't made the move yet. The thing I like least is the hitting. I hate the feel of the hitting stick and there just doesn't seem to be enough power. For you guys that have both is the Show better in that area? Or different enough to warrant a shot?
