Re: OOTP 12 Franchise Progress Thread

Just started a new fictional league. It's the Canadian Baseball League and is all Canadian teams. There are 2 conferences (Larry Walker and Joey Votto) with 2 divisions in each made up of 4 teams. There are 2 levels of minors (AAA, AA) so the league is pretty small. We only play an 82 game season because I want to play a lot of them, but now Cubby has come out with his new set so this may be paused for a while.
I have finished my first year and lost in the 1st round of playoffs (2 divisions winners and 2 wild cards per Conference). My team is very young and what I find difficult is that I am only allowed to have 5 foreign players on my CBL roster at any given time, so that makes trading a bit harder and roster moves a bit more difficult.

Anyway, my closer was 3-0 with 18 saves, 1 BS, and a 0.56 era before he went down for 4 months in the 68th game, I truely believe if he was in my lineup in the playoffs I could have won the whole thing.

Bringing this thread back for franchise updates.

I've started a Yankees dynasty to test out the game before I start my Jays save.

4-3 with the Yankees after 7 games. My team can't hit worth a lick right now. Cano has been my most consistent hitter and the only one batting over .260 along with Andruw Jones. A-Rod's batting .042 and sucking balls. Russell Martin leads the team with 2 homers and 8 RBI's while Jeter's right behind. Hoping that my team picks it up soon

            OOTP 13

Playing as the Ham Fighers. Won a championship in five years after finishing last the first two years!

Love the Nippon League because it is like a fictional league since I don't know any of the players and that doesn't make me play favorites in building my team!

Re: OOTP 12 Franchise Progress Thread

Need some more info on your issue. Did you dowload the MLB 12 all in one pack? Install it and then start your game. Hope that helps

In my Blue Jays save, I'm currently 11-9 and off to a so-so start. Adam Lind has carried my team with 9 homers and 19 ribbies to start off the season. Bautista has struggled, but has started to come around

Brett Lawrie has been in a season long slump with a .172 BA, 2 HR and 7 RBI

My starters overall have pitched really well. Henderson Alvarez and Brandon Morrow are off to 3-0 starts. Romero's 1-2, but has had poor run support. Drabek is 2-1 with a 6.50 ERA while Hutchison had 1 rough spot start.

My X-Factor is McGowan. He's pitched really well in his 2 starts since coming off the DL. 1-0 and looking solid as my 5th starter.

My bullpen has been, well, frustrating. They have cost me 3 wins already and I'm hoping they get their act together soon. Biggest culprits have been Frasor and Villanenueva. Santos has also blown a couple of saves.

Hoping to ramp up some wins against the Mariners and stay with the Yankees and BoSox
