trust me if you ever get the chance to go to the College World Series go.... I had the greatest time last year and it is so worth it. Once again I would love the game but it would probably be too hard to get the game to be accurate with players and what not.

Being an LSU fan, I've had plenty of experience watching the College World Series and having a rooting interest. I just have not had a chance to go. I will one day. I wonder how far Omaha is from Canton? Maybe I could hit 2 goals in one trip? College World Series and NFL Hall of Fame.
As far as the college baseball game, I think it would sell well in the South, where college baseball is big. LSU has played Tulane before 25000+ in the Superdome the past couple of years. How many Division I baseball teams are there? More than Division I basketball? I realize it would be next to impossible to accurately represent all the college stadiums, but they could do like March Madness and represent the most well known and give generic types to the lesser known schools. Still, as much as I'd like there to be a NCAA baseball game, I think it is a long shot that we will ever see one.

I would buy a college baseball game right away. I know many others that would buy one also. The number of college basebal players from NCAA, NAIA, and JUCO would definately cover the needed interest. There are over 25,000 players in the NCAA (D I, DII, DIII)alone. The only reason why there is just alot of hype around the CWS is because thats the only time ESPN bothers to do something for college baseball and the real interest comes out. If they did as much for college baseball as they do for college womens basketball, there would be alot more interest out there through out the year. They could at least put the scores on the bottom line like they do with womens basketball.

The interest in college baseball is there and growing. Attendance figures show it. Throw in a create a school and the game will sell. Then import the seniors to the draft to fill out the new minor league system in MVP. That would be awesome. Use the old engine I dont care I just want a college baseball game.

I asked about this last year around the time of the College World series, and the response I got aroudn here then was no. Pretty depressing, if EA Sports made it using the cool dynasty mode and recruiting from NCAA football series, and the engine from MVP, the game would be sweet.
