I agree with everyone here tho i'm not as adamant as floridagamer

The cutscenes weren't all that good and it happened far too often. Let's hope it's dramatically cut down. I agree with pitt on the cutscene down the line tho. That was a sweet one and got my heart racing once in a while.

I hope they do it right though... you know, make it like real life. Have a STATIONARY camera in the second/third deck behind home plate (like real life... if you don't know what stationary is, look it up), and it locks on the ball flight in the air (remember it doesn't FOLLOW the ball though, that's the thing with stationary cameras... do you actually see somebody flying in the air with a camera following the ball's every move? No. They stay in a... again... STATIONARY spot, and rotate and zoom when necessary.). And hopefully they added a crowd reaction to ball type thing, where that group of the crowd reach up and try to get the ball... I mean come on, Triple Play '96 for PC had this.

Uh, anyways, yeah... I hope that's your cutscene if anything... everybody watch a homerun on TV in real life, and that's the EXACT camera thing that I mean.

Yeah, I think the ball should only go on a cutscene like that when it's hit down the line, but if it's a no-doubter, do what muffinmcfluffin said, have it change to the stationary camera.

No, I mean that should be their camera anyways... that's how it is in real life. I'm just saying that for obvious home runs, the camera man (at least the camera man for the Blue Jays according to what I've seen on SportsCenter) will actually stay on the ball instead of the closest fielder to the ball.

It's VERY hard to explain, but if you understand what I mean all the way, then yeah... I think that's what they should do.

I think I know what you're talking about. This camera view is normally done at home tho near the end of the year they've done it on the road. There's a closeup of the ball as it's heading to the stands. Usually it's done from what appears to be the upperdeck of the dome and the opposite field of where the HR is hit.

EXAMPLE: A bomb is blasted to left, you'd get your normal shot of the ball flying to the stands then switching over from the right side with a closeup of the ball as it enters the seats.

I'm not sure if what you're talking about is what I mean... all I mean is that I'm just POSITIVE that the regular fielding camera in Toronto in real life, that dude for some reason has a thing for watching the flight of the ball on home runs, and he follows the ball instead of following the fielder, then going to the stands to find out where the ball lands.

                              Do you understand?

Okay, watch a baseball game... watch um... a regular fly ball. Usually they will only show the fielder that's going to field the ball, and not that ball that's way up high in the air. Now pretend they did the same thing, only the hit is a homerun. That's what many camera men do if they are the regular fielding dude... the guy in Toronto will actually locate the ball in the air if it's a no doubter blast.
