To follow up on the automatic throws. Will there be a an option to allow for automatic fielding but give the user complete control over the throws??

Assist mode completes the throws for you as well. Not sure but I think it's most of the time they do this.

I'm pretty sure you can decide where to throw to though, unlike in the auto mode. I moved to manual because sometimes the fielders wouldn't do anything, just stand there watch the ball go by, or throw the ball home instead of 2nd or 3rd.

I had the same original question. From what I remember, ASSIST mode would complete the throw for you if you did not "pre-throw". But what I noticed is that sometimes the throw was still controlled by the CPU, even if you said to throw it somewhere else.

I would love to see ASSIST mode take control of the fielder to catch the ball, but give the user full control over the throw.

Exactly. The full control of throws would be cool. I hate fielding myself as I always a) miss the ball b) cause an error

I work in software and I'd guess they're finalling which means that haven't shaved/showered/seen their loved ones etc. let alone write and tell us how it's going.

My only gripe with ASB04 was that Great American Ballpark wasn't finished. Areas where you were supposed to see through something were black, and it just made the stadium ugly.

So, has then been fixed, and are the Riverboat Smoke Stacks out in right center? Do they shoot off fireworks when a Reds player hits a homer?

I don't have any free time. But I will tell you that Great American has been re-built and has the smoke stacks. It looks great. I might not have time to answer all the questions for another week or two but I will get to them all eventually.
