Re: Questions for ASB Man

Hey ASB_Man, thanks for taking the time out of the development schedule to get on here and answer people's questions about the game.

I have a question about the Manage Only mode in the upcoming version: in last year's game the offensive production when playing in MO mode was really low. Will this year's version produce more realistic stats and results in MO or CPU vs. CPU mode?

Thanks again!!

Thanks for answering my question ASB Man. No matter what anyone says you guys have made a great game this year, and I will stay a fan of ASB until the end. ASB > MVP
Coming is my style, but I have to go.

Absolutely! I'm favoring ASB over MVP this year as well. I love ASB's attention to detail, from the homerun celebrations & batting stances to the ballparks & player models. Everything looks great!

1. When player get tired over the course of the week or games, can you have the computer automaticly sub in your players, or does the fatugie not affect the players like that like that. Can player get hurt if your play them to much, ex. say if im playing Pizza everyday can he get hurt if I dont rest him?

2. Are the players more responsive this year, like is it possible to make leaping cathes and dives. Cause last year it seemed to slugish.

-No, but everyone is forced to use downloadable rosters. So if Pedro gets hurt in real life...he's not there to use.

I'm not so sure I like this one.

In all my past leagues, our 'virtual world' is like an alternate dimension. In last year's Inside Pitch, for instance, we started the season with the rosters supplied by the shrinkwrapped copy, then allowed trades that each of us, as individual GMs, wanted. We did not match any real-world trades.

Now did we match real-world injuries... we've always based injuries in our football and basketball leagues off of what happened in our games (Sega always used to provide the injury in number of games or days, depending on the sport). I'll never forget the time I, as the Celtics, happened to injure the top Knicks star in the last (meaningless) game of the regular season, leading New York to get swept in the first round.

Since this is still a Q&A thread, I'll just sum up by asking, "Are there any plans for next year to follow MS' custom roster online option?"
