i dont know that this is the proper thread, but how confident are we that the baserunning system will be responsive this year? that it my one and only issue with this great game.....i CONSTANTLY either get thrown at from a late start, or just sit there at third base, unable to get my players to advance while the OFer plays with himself out there...any thoughts on this?

Yeah, it was a little tough last year to advance individual players from base to base. Most of the time I advanced all runners with L1 (ps2) and then used circle and the d-pad towards the base to return the guy I didn't want to advance.
Stealing was too easy last year IMO, at least on All-Star difficulty. If your opponent selected their pitch, as soon as you hit triangle and the d-pad for the base you're on (again ps2) the runner would take off. If done correctly you could steal the base every time. If I remember correctly, there was always a hesitation in stealing bases on rookie and veteran difficulty. That made stealing a little tough, but more realistic. I'm not sure if it was still like that last year though because I always played on All-Star difficulty.Comment

Re: Questions for ASB Man
ASB MAN - This is to do with the Multiownership of the game. I read earlier from ASB Man that you can only be 1 team in Franchise mode. Is there a mode (ex. Season - where you only play 1 season instead of a whole Franchise) where you can actually control all the teams? This will probably determine whether I'll buy the game or not. Thanks.Comment

Re: Questions for ASB Man
I think this should answer it:
If the coding recognizes the name, they'll say, i.e. say you create Kaz Matsui, they will say Matsui, or someone with the last name Jenkins, they'll say Jenkins. ASB_Man said this earlier, I'll try to find the exact page/thread.Comment
