ASB Man,

Has baserunning been improved? Last year, baserunners wouldn't advance properly, even after pressing the advance runner key (they hesitated, which led to being thrown out).

How about pick off plays? Last year on some throws to first, the AI baserunner stood still.

What about foul balls...Last year there were plenty of foul balls, except when playing zone hitting. Since that is now the default (a good thing) will there be a lot more foul balls?

Is the fileding improved (last year was not very responsive when compared to WSB or IP), leading to a lot of misplayed balls. Diving was terrible.

1- Can you name a few of the new / improved batting stances & pitching deliveries which were were added?

2- Is it now easier to score runners from 2nd on a base hit?

Hey, ASB_man, I'm wondering, will there be pickoffs in this year's game? Last year, there weren't any. I really liked the fact that you could balk, but there were no pickoffs. If you can make pickoffs possible, and keep the balks in there, that would be swell.

For me, it all comes down to game play. If it isn't enjoyable, then it's not worth playing. Last year was so very close but there were two major gripes I had with the game.

First, the overall pace of the game. Has it been sped up so we can play a game within a 30-35 minute time span? I found it impossible to play a season when games lasted a good 50-60 minutes, much less more than one game in a day. What's been implemented to speed up the game?

Second, has the human controlled pitching been tweaked so there's not so much pin point control? It was far too easy to go 6-8 innings with your starter and only give up maybe one walk.

To me these are major questions...whether this becomes a "must buy" or a "maybe I'll rent".
