    Re: Questions for ASB Man

For me, it all comes down to game play. If it isn't enjoyable, then it's not worth playing. Last year was so very close but there were two major gripes I had with the game.

First, the overall pace of the game. Has it been sped up so we can play a game within a 30-35 minute time span? I found it impossible to play a season when games lasted a good 50-60 minutes, much less more than one game in a day. What's been implemented to speed up the game?

Second, has the human controlled pitching been tweaked so there's not so much pin point control? It was far too easy to go 6-8 innings with your starter and only give up maybe one walk.

To me these are major questions...whether this becomes a "must buy" or a "maybe I'll rent".

    Thanks in advance.

      Re: Questions for ASB Man

I thought of a couple more questions.

1.Can we see detailed boxscores of all games played by every team(like High Heat 2001 for the pc)
      2. Will there be highlites of other games played? Or ability to save replays?
      3. Will there be any new fantasy stadiums.
      4. Can you check league leaders in the minor leagues(High Heat 2001 pc)

      Thanks

                  Re: Questions for ASB Man

                  1) Will we be able to edit "pitch effectiveness", "injury rating", and other attributes that were uneditable in 2004?

                  2) Will we be able to edit a created players age?

                  3) Will CAPs want as big of contracts this year? Last year I kept getting a bunch of C+ created players wanting 40 points a year.

                        ASB Man,

                        A few questions for you.

                        1. Has the baserunning been improved so that runners can move two bases on singles and three bases on doubles sometimes. Last time I played ASB, it was the 2003 version and it was hard for me to get into because it was too much station to station baseball.

                        2. How are the runs to hits ratio? I used to get 4 runs on 18 hits. I never walked and like I said earlier, it was base to base.

                        3. Big thing with me is gameplay. What gameplay enhancements have been made to pull ASB more toward a realistic game of baseball?

Thanks for taking the time to anwer questions..... I'm anxious to hear the answers.
