    Re: Questions for ASB Man

I asked this a week ago and I'm sorry if I missed the answer but, will we have an option to toggle on/off the catcher throwback or the "life-saver" pich location thingy?

On another note, I wish you guys could implement a pressure sensitive trigger batting like the old WSB2K. It would also be cool if the further you sqeeze the trigger, the smaller the icon would become. Also how about eliminating the border of the icon and either making it a bat-shaped discolored area or even better, a bat-shaped distorted area. You could call it "Total Focus Batting" or something, because the distorted area woud represent the spot the batter is "focusing" on. Just an idea.

BTW, Thanks so much for talking to us. You guys are by far the best dev team in the business!

I have a nuts and bolts question---- How is batting handled in your game? Is it stat driven? Attribute driven? Stat plus user actions?

Just curious about the nuts and bolts of the batting system and how it actually delivers results of swings.

            Thanks for answering questions!!!

                        Re: Questions for ASB Man

                        1) Is there a way to implement a trivia question at the start of the game that if answered correctly, would give your team an added boost for that game, and if answered incorrectly, would give the other team an added boost. If you didn't answer the question at all, then nothing would happen to any momentum for either team that game. I really loved it when Triple Play 98 did that as it made it more interesting and fun.

                        2) Another hopefully question......anyway for you guys to implement the stadium fly ins at the start of the game like Triple Play 98? It was awesome to see cars driving by and getting a look at the stadium while the National Anthem was playing, plus it sounded cool to hear it change in surround sound as if you were actually entering the stadium with the crowd noise and louder singing.

                        Thanks again,
