    Re: Questions for ASB Man

Poop, I don't think you send him down to AAA. It sounds like you just edit your pitching staff and remove Schmidt from the starting rotation and add one from the 40 man roster. At least that is what I gather from from what he said.

I am a bit confused still myself . Is there going to be a button or something to use someone from the 40 man roster?

If this is how it is, then the 40 man roster thing is not a big deal at all. Was it this way last year? I need to fire up the game LOL.

So what I am thinking is correct? The big deal we all made about not having a 40 man roster was just that, a big deal over nothing .

            This makes me very happy.

So once Sept. rolls around, I can take ppl on my 40 man roster who are in the minors and assign them to my ML team w/o sending someone down??? I don't think so, because he already mentioned there were no expanded rosters, and this would count as an expanded roster. Unless they just become available on your bench when you go to pinch hit/run or warm up a reliever. ASB_Man said there are only 25 slots when you set your lineup and pitching staff, so how is it possible to use a player w/o sending someone down and calling another one up?

All he's saying is this, you have 40 man roster with an "on/off" option. When you get ready to play your spring training games, you can only take 25 guys into the game. If you want to play your minor leaguers, scroll down to that player, toggle the "40 man option" to "on". When on, that minor leaguer can play in the game with the big leagues. You can do this as much as you want in spring training games. So if you want to play this prospect in say a 1 game of a doubleheader, toggle his option to on and he can participate and if you don't want him to participate, you toggle this option to off. Wait, now i'm confused.

LOL, we are all confusing each other I think.

Here is how I read. Each player has an option "40 Man Roster Yes/No" Naturally your 25 big leaguers are YES. You can set another 15 guys to YES from your farm system. So when the time comes, they are available to add into the lineup before a game starts if you so choose. I think, LMAO
