Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2013 pre-orders open with free shipping!

[Spirits Translation]

Pre-orders are open from the site I always buy PYS from. It's available in PS3, PSP and Vita and as usual no region lock. This year it's being released on a WED in Japan (Tuesday in US) so if you opt for Federal Express you'll probably get it on Friday (only standard shipping is free though.)

There's only a certain amount of copies released outside Japan. In the past some have had to wait for re-stocks because the first batch was sold out.

I don't think the PS3 version is confirmed to have WBC yet. I could be wrong...

No WBC this year according to emails from Konami's PR department. Guess its back to 2011...

I just bought Pro Yakyuu Spirits 2011 for $39.99 from Amazon so does this include the World Baseball Classic? If I like it then I'll definitely pre-order.

2011 did not have WBC version, this is like the World Cup it only comes once every 4 years. The last version that had WBC was PYS 6 (2009 version) but there are no translations for it. We almost got around to doing it but then said "Meh, let's just wait until 2013."

It appears Japan had some grievances and were going to boycott the WBC. Everything is ok now and Konami just got the contract to be a sponsor - but probably too late to put in the game. Maybe it will be added as DLC later who knows?

It's a bummer, but hopefully their new GM mode will compensate.

This should help with the PYS 6 game. If there are some things out of order I think mixing and matching and some trial and error using the 2010 translation guide helped me work it out easily.
