Glad to see the $39.99 price tag instead of the standard $49.95. I think that alone will attract more gamers perhaps. Acclaim has to do something to compete with the influx of all the baseball games on the horizon. Great start!

Not sure, that's why when I saw it, I figured I'd try to spread the word before it goes back up... I think ESPN is $39.99 as well (at least it was for Xbox)..

Thats good if thats the price but it looks like it got pushed back if its the 9th because it was for the 2nd

I realize MVP has it's own forum and I don't even want to get into the "this game rules..other ones suck!" garbage. After all,I'm a refugee from the HH camp so I have no preconcieved notion about any other games. But from what I've read about this years MVP, I wonder if Akklaim and Sega are trying to compete. EA seems to be building a lot of immersive quality into a fresh engine. I'm impressed with their efforts to take baseball into the "thumb jockeying" arena of sports games. Perhaps 39.99 is a way to compete with that.

Again, don't flame me..I only played HH last year so I have no idea if the design plays. But it is different and sounds interesting.
