i told everybody all last year this game was pretty good.
I don't think there is going to be a new version this year.
haven't heard about new game yet.
One thing though, after playing better graphics games you will notice IP needs some graphical upgrades.

Re: IP not too bad after all!

I just bought IP today since it's pretty cheap. I have to say I think it's pretty decent.

The stadiums are beautiful and the lighting for night games is outstanding.

Sound is pretty good to me.

I like the pitcher/batter interface. I've played the last few games on MLB setting ("Pro" I guess). I have had NO problem striking out the CPU with pitches in and out of the strike zone.

The right analog stick is GREAT, IMO. Little utilized function, but its slick once you get used to it. I have not had one problem turning a DP or hitting the cutoff man. Diving is a chore, but in most baseball games it is.

Last game I played I was the Pirates (Kip Wells) vs. Cincy (Jimmy Anderson):

      FINAL : Bucs 3 R, 9 H, 0 E
      Reds 1 R, 7 H, 0 E

      R.Sanders 3-4, HR, 2 RBI
      Simon 2-4, 2B, RS

I thought it was very entertaining and felt pretty realistic. I had fun with it. I know with all the new BB games coming out, IP is very retro, but I needed something different to hold me over until March 9th and MVP!
