SOME, but not as drastic as it is displayed in previous versions of ASB. With the production level quality of video games in this day and age, there isn't a reason why it can't be addressed.

Previous ASB titles had the magnet effect very bad. Considering they've taken about 95% of the magnet effect that was in last years game OUT, I guess I'd just expect you to be happy just with THAT.

Production Level -

Compared to the hundreds of people they have working on other sports game, ASB has 1/3 or less to work with. Considering that, ANYTHING they put out that can match the level of gaming EA and other companies put out is a GOOD THING.

You're demands from Acclaim, from the ASB team, to me are kind of like walking up to a Bum on the street and saying "DO RIVERDANCE!"

I don't think it's fair to claim "production level" as a valid reason. If "ASB_MAN" has addressed it, saying it IS a problem, then why not "FIX THE PROBLEM?" They have addressed something such as zone batting (hell they even made it the default! Now that's a smart move, jumping on HH's disappointing fold) yet this just gets a minor touch. It WILL be a problem.... remember this when you're playing a multiplayer game and you get robbed of a game tying homerun b/c of this same issue.

Does that NOT make sense? FIX the problem? What other gripes are there about this game that actually AFFECT the gameplay? Stadium's not being correct? Has no effect on gameplay... it just effects the experience. (Hell, ASB has the BEST stadium detail IMO. Remember opening day? AWESOME!)

ASB's experience is great but this issue dampers the enjoyment for most that just don't enjoy playing this game.

Yeah, the video looks great... but there are other videos that look great as well...

I don't see how anyone can see that video and think it looks great, yet can't agree that the MLB 2005 vids posted look just as good.

I'll repeat what I've said before, and ASB_Art has said this as well. The crouch happens a lot less than previous verisons. You will still see it occasionally but not twice a play, every play like ASB04. We had time to transition the motions you will see the most to go in to a fielder-ready throw or a stand. In order to remove it completely we would need
1) 4-6 more months
2) 2-3 more artists
3) Another $300,000 motion shoot

PS- don't quote me on the price
Next thing you know Muffin will be calling various motion studios and getting us quotes.

I am all in favor of pointing out flaws in a game. That's the only way things will change. But trust me when I say repeating this problem over and over will not get it fixed. Turning off HR cameras, yes...it took one of our programmers a few hours, and it was free.
