"I don't think it's fair to claim "production level" as a valid reason. If "ASB_MAN" has addressed it, saying it IS a problem, then why not "FIX THE PROBLEM?""

I'll repeat what I've said before, and ASB_Art has said this as well. The crouch happens a lot less than previous verisons. You will still see it occasionally but not twice a play, every play like ASB04. We had time to transition the motions you will see the most to go in to a fielder-ready throw or a stand. In order to remove it completely we would need
1) 4-6 more months
2) 2-3 more artists
3) Another $300,000 motion shoot

PS- don't quote me on the price

Next thing you know Muffin will be calling various motion studios and getting us quotes.

I am all in favor of pointing out flaws in a game. That's the only way things will change. But trust me when I say repeating this problem over and over will not get it fixed. Turning off HR cameras, yes...it took one of our programmers a few hours, and it was free.

I've hated the crouch and the the vacuum as much as anyone in the past, but even with them, ASB has been better than anyone else's game. Looking forward to trying out the new pitcher cam this year...should be really cool to see some pre-pitch practice batting swings from that angle with guys who have signature warmups.

P.S. Thanks for adding the 1B throwing the ball around the horn this year after plays at first. Just watched the Soriano clip over at IGN and noticed it. Do catchers throw the ball down to third after a strikeout, too? I've asked for that for awhile now, and the fact that ASB always adds new stuff like that is why I keep buying (and loving) ASB every year. Crouch and all.

Great response. I realize the severity of the problem now if it will take that much to have it addressed... HOWEVER, I do hope that it isn't as noticeable in this year compared to previous efforts.
