You want to sit there while you get this game with amazing options and average gameplay. Why don't you actually think of the reasons most people prefer other games over this one? The reasons I brought up are perfectly valid and are agreed upon by the majority of the people who can't "get into" this game. You ever wonder what people would really complain about if this game had gameplay similar to High Heat? Next to NOTHING. We bring up points b/c we want these things addressed to IMPROVE the game, yet your answer is to simply "deal with it."

It's gamers like you that bend over and take it year after year why these things don't get addressed. You're a greedy VG businessman's dream, the gamer who "takes it" year in and year out.

Maybe in the future you can actually control the fielders arm and joints, and move your arm so you line up with catching the ball. All in a matter of a second or two, sounds groovey.

Yes, there's a perfect example of how it SHOULD look. Not having the ball disappear 2 ft away and seeing a magical "Out" appear onscreen....

No what I mean is in ASB you actually see the ball change paths, you see it move in a different direction. In WSB, you don't see it change paths. It just goes from where it is, then teleports into the glove. IMO, there is no difference.

How do you think this could be handled differently? Do you think the ball should have collision detection with the glove? Won't that be really hard to line up the glove with the ball? My thought was to actually not make the path into the glove so close to the glove. If you are good fielding position to field the ball, have ball start taking an approach to the glove much earlier, that way the trasition (Warp) effect is not apparent. That was a just a thought, since I know very little about programming 3d vidoe games and the warp never really bothered much.

I am just at a loss here, since I have seen it in every baseball game, I figure there is a reason it is done this way. I mean it even did it back in the 2d days, the graphics were just so crappy you couldn't tell LOL
