You could hit HR's way too easily, at least in my experience and from what I've read on other baseball message boards. I can't recall, but I don't believe this had 9 hitting zones as well... I could be wrong. It just "felt" off. Just wasn't as responsive.

I actually converted from High Heat 2003 to ASB 2004. I really love ZONE hitting in ASB. I think it feels different because the ball comes in so fast. But I got the most realistic hit types using Zone batting, and most realistic stats.

I played full seasons of HH and ASB last year using the same system with both, and I hit a similar number of homers... so, I'm not sure what you mean. Maybe I just suck.

It had the same nine zones as HH. It even showed them if you clicked the stick down. It was exactly like HH in every way... except for the pitch speeds.

I think you will enjoy it even more than High Heat. I am an ex High Heat player myself. Unless they changed something, there is even a manage only mode too, and it is more fun and better than HH too.
