Re: A couple general ASB questions...

    1. Are there minor leagues in ASB? If so, how is the depth of the minor leagues in ASB? (Eg: Is it like WSB2k3 where it's just a list of players or do they actually divide your minor leagues into AAA, AA and A a la High Heat?)

There are AAA,AA, and A minor leaguers, some minor leaguers from the ML farm teams will be there, but the others will be created/random players. From what I believe you'll have 45 minor leaguers.

    2. Do player uniforms get dirty? If I remember reading correctly, ASB 04 didn't have the players' uniforms getting dirty but someone said the uniforms in '05 will. Can someone confirm?

    I'm not sure...

    3. Do the bats break like in ESPN and MVP 04?

Yes, there have been broken bats in ASBB for a while.

    4. Does ASB keep track of records like WSB2k3 did? (Eg: Most career strikeouts, Most single-season homeruns, etc.)

Yes, it keeps track of team records and all-time records.

    5. Are there end of the year awards and trophies such as AL/NL MVP, AL/NL Rookie of the Years, Gold Glove awards, etc.?

Yes, there are awards. Like Cy Young and Rolaids Reliever of the Year.

    6. During certain camera views, can you see people actually sitting in the dugout? If so, do they move at all? I know in WSB2k3, you could see players in the dugout but each player was static and each dugout didn't vary from team to team. I didn't see anyone sitting in the dugout in the latest ASB 05 screenshots/movies.

I still believe it'll only show bench players in the dugout, but I'd like to see them actually have players stirring there.

    7. Is there career stat tracking? If so, do the announcers make any mention of it? Eg: Say in the 2004 season, Player A from your team led the league in homeruns. When you play the 2005 season, will the announcers mention that Player A led the league last year?

I'm not sure if it's in this years, but previous years, no notation was made unless it was a no-hitter, four home run performance, or anything of significance of that game.

7a. Going back to my Minor League question #1, if the minors do exist in ASB, can you track the minor leaguers' stats or does your scout just give you a general outlook/rating?

There are no minor league stats, there are scouting reports.

    8. I'm sure you have the regular July 31st Trade Deadline. How about the August 31st 2nd Trade Deadline? Do you guys have that? It's not a necessary feature but it could be really cool if such a feature existed, in any game for that matter.

I'm not sure if the trading deadline is there.

    9. Do you guys have an amateur draft?

Yes, and I believe it's been fixed so it won't always have good outfielders all the time.

    10. When players are running around the base, do they make a 90 degree turn or do they actually round the bases (a la MVP 04)?

They round the bases at an angle.
