On the video, there was a hit to the 2nd baseman... A decent hit, not a squibber or anything, and the runner made it safely to first.

Then on the infiled grounder, the pitcher threw the guy out at first, but the play seemed WAY too close for me.

Does anyone else think that the players run too fast? Maybe this is something they are still tweaking...

Yeah, the player who beat out the throw to first base was Gary Sheffield, out of all people. Thank god for the player editor as we can somehow slow these players down. It would be nice to have the speed issue fixed out of the box, though.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

I hope its fixed. I will NOT do the editing like I did back in the NHL 2K3 days. It needs to be addressed.. I think it will though as this version Steve has is only a 70% BETA, IIRC. That right?

Those were some impressive videos, I must say. Like someone else said, the bat to ball contact has been significantly improved.

The signature batting stances and pitcher windups look great too, especially Chipper's and Sheffield's. One thing that was a little puzzling to me, though, was that Kevin Brown's windup doesn't appear to be too realistic looking. I know he was only pitching from the stretch in the video, but it looks like they assigned him one of the generic windups. I know they didn't have his signature one in last year's game, so I was kind of curious. Considering how unique his windup and delivery look, it would be strange for Acclaim to not have it there when everyone else's I have seen looks pretty much spot on.

I love the commentating on the blooper hit by Kerry Robinson in the 2nd video

"That blooper will.....(waiting for outcome of the play)....drop in!"

Very nicely done. The only thing that bothered me was the VERY late reaction by Cliff Floyd on the homer hit to LF by Giles. I'm assuming that will be fixed.

It doesn't effect gameplay because anything the CPU can get, it will get. It just doesn't start after the ball until the last possible second.

Which looks really awkward but doesn't effect gameplay in any way whatsoever.
