The only thing that I did noticed was that the catcher seemed likt he was sitting on a stool. Is it gonna be like that for every pitch. anyway the vids look real good.

Plus, when you do the practice swing it triggers the personal batters box quirks of the star players (like Ichiro's shoulder shrug).



That said, here are the awkward-looking things in these new videos that critics of the game are sure to seize on:

-At no point in any of the videos does the crowd stop clapping.

-The crouch may be reduced, but it's still there and still looks awful.

-A.I. fielders still wait until the last moment to go for the ball, which can be mistaken for "canned" or "prescripted" plays.

-The crowd's still flat


The thing is, all these things only look awkward because the game is - otherwise - so good at creating the illusion that you're watching an actual broadcast.


Other things are obviously improved:

-The overlays and minicutscenes look much better and greatly improve the presentation

-The new camera angles are killer

-There appear to be even more distinctive stances/motions

-Player bodies are much fuller and more accurate, and the graphics in general look richer
