Today I had a game that almost made me put ASB away.
1. Had a dribbler hit back to the pitcher. The next thing I know the RF is playing it off the wall. I did a replay and the ball was hit straight back to the pitcher, who broke for third base. The ball then did a quick 45 degree angle left and the next thing the RF is taking it off the wall.
2. Green hit a grandslam with two men on base. Announcer called it and given credit for 4 runs, not three.
3. And the most frustrating. I had eleven strikeouts. I would guess 4 were of the called strike three right down the middle and seven of the ball one foot out of the strikezone and they swung. On top of that I would say that I had at least twenty of those awful swings on balls no where near the plate.
I don't mind it once in awhile, but todays game really took me out of the mood. I guess I"ll go back to playing the game as I can control those awful decisions by the AI.Comment

I hear you..By chance, were you facing a junk throwing lefty in that game?
I haven't had any scoring mistakes like that yet or the crazy graphical ball to the pitcher winds up in the OF.Comment

Was facing Jeff Weaver. What was so frustrating in this particular game was my big guns, Nevin, Giles and Klesko looking like fools in critical situations. I was actually talking to myself, i.e., "oh, come ON!".Comment

I was just wondering...it seemed when I have games like that it's always against a lefty..what pitch speed were you using? Last night, I dropped down to classic pitch speed and I didn't seem to have as many of those flailing swings. It may have just been a coincidence; but I also had some other positive differences like balls not coming off the bat as quickly so I actually had some guys scoring from 2nd on singles.Comment

You can set the pitch speed in Manage Mode? I thought it was all default settings in Manage Mode. I'll have to try something if I plan on playiing MOM again.Comment
